Agado and Thinksys made it easier for people with Parkinson’s to keep up with their workouts

ThinkSys partnered with Agado Live to create something remarkable - a mobile app that helps Parkinson's patients exercise more effectively. This app uses real-time pose detection AI to guide patients through their routines. Early results show patients completing their exercises twice as accurately as before, with significantly fewer frustrating moments and higher completion rates.

Meet Agado Live

Agado Live builds technology that empowers therapists in hospitals and clinics. They needed technical expertise to create a movement-tracking app that worked in real time. Parkinson's affects stability during basic movements, which makes standard workout programs tough to follow. The current apps on the market fell short in three key areas:

  • Movement Tracking that Works Instantly: Patients couldn't see if their form was correct while exercising.
  • Simple Instructions: Other apps made exercises too complicated to follow.
  • Form Validation: Nothing showed patients whether they were doing movements correctly.

When patients can't get immediate feedback on their movements, they often get discouraged and stop exercising altogether.

ThinkSys Developed a High-performance AI Application for Agado Live

This app detects body positioning in real time using MediaPipe. Here are some solutions provided by ThinkSys:

  • Guided Positioning: Real-time tracking shows patients exactly how to adjust their form.
  • Step-by-Step Exercise Instructions: Clear, simple movement breakdowns patients can follow.
  • Exercise Completion Validation: Built-in checks confirm patients are doing movements correctly.
  • Seamless Performance: Moving pose detection logic from React Native to Swift and Kotlin made the app faster and more precise.
